What do I have to modify on my sapphire Cosworth 4x4 to use a P8 ECU ? I mean without expensive modifications. Is that possible to use a L8 chip in the P8 ecu ?

 

There is actually no good reason for using a p8 instead of an l8 unless you are using anti lag or water injection.

But it is a direct swap.
l8 chip will not work with p8

 

Yes but I will use antilag in the future and well I sold my ECU which was for catalytic converter car because I removed the catalytic crap and well I wanted to clean system.

Oh great ! Do you know who can do it and how much it would cost ? I already asked jano but probably you have more addresses. It is just to run a standard engine, so shouldn't cost a lot I guess.

 

A L8 or L6 can run water injection, Air injectors etc.. All it cant do is run ALS.


XEN wants to run a P8 on his std 4x4 untill he is ready to mod the setup to run ALS. When he is ready for ALS he will require another chip suited to the setup he has.

All you need for now is a STD chip to run in a P8 which i have sorted for him
