hello im after a pic of a standard rs turbo ecu as brought a ecu which im told is chipped i would just like to see the inside of a standard one to see the differents as the inside of mine hasnt got any marks to say what chip it is or if it is just a standard one

 

Generally, If the BIGGEST chip is BLACK then its standard.
Otherwise if its a dull brown or faded purple its chipped.

The chip is the one central to the board.

 

well its not black,is there a way of finding out what chip it is then as it only got a few numbers on there

 

Does it have a clear window on the chip ?

If so its modified

You may have to remove an aluminium strip on top if its fitted
(2 screws either side of chip and some twisty tabs)


There will be NO way to tell what stage or who did it unless you have
a sticker with the exact info written on it in PLAIN english.
