the only thing i can think of 1st hand is the 105 had rear drums and 130 had discs(not 100% tho),theres another cuple as well but cant think any at moment,but sure sum 1 will correct me if wrong or any more!!!

 

that numberplate is not in my copy of microcat that contains all fords since...1981 to 2003

few simple tells

does the car have rear discs? 260mm front brakes, should be close to the inside of the wheels on standard 14's is it lift up reverse...

does it rev to 6750? pulling to the limiter, if no to any of those some of it isn't 130spec

 

im telling you its a 105

 

The only difference between the 105 & the 130 is the 130 had a bigger throttle body housing.So all those escort and mondeo 105's out there.If u can find a 130 throttle body then fit it.

no the ecus are set up different as well

 

the throttle, ecu and cams are all different, the head castings are apparently different too, but i can't see any difference in them personally.

 

inlet manifolds should be different too as is the injector sandwhich plate...

Look on the dist end of the head, on the left top corner there will be a code R Q d, this should mean its a 130 head.

 

that number lpate isnt on the ford ETIS system, it must have been re registered (like if its had a private plate on at some point), if you have the vin, i can x ref
