Default Adrenaline Rear Brace (FAO M Rainbird)

Hi Mike and anyone else interested, You wanted to see how the brace looks install in an escort cosworth, Well I have a couple of pictures for you. The spare wheel has to go but in most case they are not usable due to upgraded brakes and this is to serve a purpose rather than just an extra piece of bling.
Hope you like. The powder coated finish is also available in Black gloss and if theres demand I can do them in black wrinkle finish coating.

and from underneath this is the mount that the bolts go directly to making this very rigid.

It bolts through the floor and through the captive nuts for 2 of the diff support mount fixings, this then leave it as a stud on the underside and you fit the nuts we supply which fixes the diff mount firmly into place again.

I take it the pic of the diff mount is just a ramdom pic as it held in with bolts from the bottom going up
Also is the hole in the floor in the boot already ???? or do you have to fit the Brace on the struts so you can drill the hole into the floor

Oh yes you have to drill 2 holes, simple common sense gets them in the right place but I will tray and find a point to reference from and giv a measurement when i send them out.

I would say if you fitted the brace to the struts that way you cant get the holes in the floor wrong

just remove the 2 bolts that will be replaced from the top and use the captive nuts as a guide for a punch or drill bit (obviously taking care not to damage the thread)

That looks nice work, infact my missus would love that as she could put the weekly shopping behind that and it wont go all over the boot Has it any other uses? Only joking its nice to see these parts being thought about.

cheeRS Stu
you should have them in the morning Stu, the bolts are a day behind due to me rushing to get all the orders out and forgot about the bolt kit.

Price for those that have asked is £197.50inc vat they are made from 4130 cro-moly tubing which makes them very rigid and allow to keep the wall thickness down meaning these weigh in at approx 1kg Lighter than most alloy braces on the market, so if your looking to save weight and have something that works this brace is for you.

As always I'm happy to do trade discount on multi purchase orders.
