its definatly the best Rs500 touring car around for performance and looks

mr. klypen's rs500 must be one of the meanest rs500's ever build.

779 hp wasn't it?

saw the engine block at jenspeed a couple of days ago, looks as mint as it was when it was buildt 3-4 years back, hardly any wear at all.

and the engine has been absolutely trouble free since it was buildt

Hi K.Goa and Olek, do you know any of the race history for Mr. Klypen's car ? it is one of the 500 race car's I now little about.

What i would give to have that DJ car in my garage

 

Its the most dominating Ford at the Gatebil event in Norway, second to Stian Hafsengen's WRC Escort. Have a look at www.gatebil.com and look for his page, some info about the car and more photo's. Otherwise have a look at Nov. issue of Fast Ford I believe. His is featured along with another Gatebil monster....

 

Hi Cochyn, I have read about Gatebil, but I am trying to find out it's Group "A" race history to add to the other old touring car's info such as the Rouse and Eggenberger cars.

this is not a rs500.....its a GROUP.A car

It used to belong to stig blomquist

 

Hi rs50087, we are obviously lost in translation, from the picture everybody can see the car looks like a sierra cosworth RS500 due to the shape and special bumper and rear spoiler lip which are easily recognisable, and your information that it is or was Group "A" spec.

Therefore it is a Group "A" RS500.

I am interested in finding out about the Group "A" race history of the car which could have been from 1987 to 1992 depending on which part of the world it raced.
