tattoos are just not cool any more IMO

too many people have them and anyone can get them - look at beckam and robbie FFS, they look like a pair of fookwits with all that ink on them

I dont regret any of mine.

I prefer plain black tattoo's or ones with a small amount of colour.

They are addictive though (imo!)

 

I'm contemplating having my daughters name and d.o.b done. I think this is ok as having say the missus' name (for example) could be a bad move as you could spilt up and then your stuck looking at that but they can't take the bond you have with your child...

I was thinking of something like that, was going to get the date my son was born on in roman numerals, or something like that.

Not sure of anything realy, thats why i'm lookin for other peoples ideas.

the only thing id say is give it serious thought before deciding, ive got a few, and i regret non of them. im gona get a few more, but the price of them these days is crazy, i got my first one 12 years ago, they wernt cheap then, but now they have gone through the roof. here's a few of mine, excuse the quality, my camera is shit.

because im a huge music fan, and music wise im into hip hop, and my favorite group is g unit. i got that tatoo in 2002, a year before 50 brought get rich or die tryin out, ive been listening to 50/g unit since 99. at the time i got it, i didnt know 50 was gona blow up into the celebrity he is today.

Obviously be fucking careful what you get because you'll wind up being 50 years old looking at a tattoo of something that means nothing to you and just looks stupid.

Surely in the back of your mind you must have been thinking "One day I won't like this sort of music"? Didn't you sit there thinking "When I was younger I was mentally into Mutant Turtles, or Kylie and Jason [or some other shit] but now I never think about it, maybe I'll be like that with this hip hop band I'm into at the moment?"

So he got famous and now you have to tell everyone who asks that you knew him before blah blah but what would you do if he turned out to be like Gary Glitter and into children or some other weird shit?

 

you obviously dont understand the way i love music, i need music in my life everyday, id go crazy without it. and i love hip hop, your not the only one who has said this sort of thing, i get the same for the way i dress, i only wear for want of a better word, hip hop clothes. where i live it is 90 percent white people, and they think im out mind, like i want to be black, which isnt the case at all, the thing i love about hip hop, is there is no requirements, you dont have to look a model to make it, like in a lot of music these days, it doesnt matter if you can sing, as long as you look good and have the rite image you got a chance, in hip hop, all you gotta do is be able to rap, and you got a shot. im the type of person that if im into something, im gona let people know, and what they think about it is there opinion, and thats all it is, someones opinion, not mine, im comfortable being me. the 3 things in my life that i love after my family, is music, cars and football. ive supported liverpool for over 20 years, thats never gona change, ive been into fords for over 20 years, thats never gona change, and ive been into 50/gunit since they came out in 99, and thats never gona change.

I generally don't like tattoo's either...some look cool but most just don't do it for me. If I were to have one I'd have a picture of my m&d done on my shoulder. It's a black and white one, done is a studio and was taken when we all went and had a family portrait done at my mums insistence but it was a good laugh

I dont get it at all.

I think the fashion for tattoos is dying out, and although some people have tat's with a personal significance, like their kids names, theres going to be a lot of people who end up seriously regreting it.

We used to have a customer who had a Garfield on one shoulder and a Mk1 Transit on the other - I mean, a mk.1 Transit

The guy with the Vauxhall tattoo might just as well have saved a few quid on all that inkwork and just had "TWAT" written on his forehead!


I always have a little chuckle when you see tatts that have had names blacked out! Idiots! lol!
