as long as the car is capable and the total weight does not exceed 3.5 tonnes you can tow 750kg.

not sure on vin off top of my head.

the axel weights will be the amount of weight that can be loaded in total over each axel. ie you may have 800kg in car but if its all over xel 1 its over loaded, basically needs to be spread.

if you need to tow more than 750kg then you would need your B+E licence, although my understanding is that you cannot exceed 3.5tonnes total weight unless you go on to do a C1 licence, but for full weight up to 44tonnes you need you C and then C+E licence.

Gross Combination Weight,
Now called Gross Train weight.
The Max Permitted weight of the towing vehicle, it's load, the trailer and it's load.
