Just been informed of a couple of guys who will be making a serious attempt on this record in the summer, and was surprised to hear that the person they need to beat is a, MB S600 in South Africa with a speed of 223,881km/h, set in 2003

How long did Martin hold the record for, as I didnt know it had been beaten TBH!

yes simons engine did let go but someone had given him a heavy flat fronted 80,s chicken shed to tow .... so he dint have the best of chances to start with.....the caravans used for this kind of thing should be 90.s onwards SLOPING FRONT NARROW BODIED lightweights
not that i would advise this kind of thing with your caravan
