Default 2 WD OR 4X4

Yes this old chestnut

2wd for doing doughnuts and giving it the bollox at cruises

4x4 for launching and good grip on the track n twisty bits

4X4 downside its expensive for big horsie power when its comes to the drive train, standard gearboxes are not all that tuff,

My dad has stage 3 4x4 and its safer for the less experianced driver and launches even in the damp but i have 400 bhp 2wd drive and thrive of the rush that it could kill me at any time. 2wds rule.

I've got my eye on a stage 3 4x4. If I go Closed loop that should see reasonable ( for a cos ) fuel economy until i'm feeling frisky?

peeps always think you can not have fun in a 4wd
as i think you can, if you have the bollocks to drive it

and if you want to race, and its wet you can do so

The only thing that steered me toward a 4x4 was a mates 2wd saff, bastard thing wont go in a straight line!!

Could have been the falken tyres and the coilovers not being set up though

for a fun toy deffo 2wd

all these people who claim you need to be on your toes ect is tbh all bollox

most of the cossies have fucked bushes HENCE they do get livley,,,, get a stage 3 t34 cossie,,,,, any less and you may aswell have a 220 fiesta turbo tbh for more fun

i would PERSONALLY never own a cossie LESS that stage 3 t34,,,,,

dont listen to all the people who say 2wd will kill you,,,,,, i went from a 1300 escort with a erst body kit to my saph and i had 3 times when i was close to loosing it and it was ALL driver error rather than the car catching me out,,,, all of it was also based on shite road conditions

i NEVER crashed my car nor did i actually get close to it

get a 2wd and book a day at bedford to learn the car and you wont have a issue with it imo

people only loose it in 2wd's when they show off to others that they are better than senna,,,,,, then they run out of skill and prang it claiming the curse of the 2wd

lots of 4wd cossies crash too,,,,,, ask dave4x4cos what happened to his escort or cossiecrew and his 4wd saph

get 2wd and enjoy working on a car thats easier to do ANYTHING than even working on a erst

PS: im a shite driver and i never wrote my one off,,,, and seriously i am
