Default Right resistance for PF09 Throttle Position sensor at idle?

Hi all

I have recently changed over to L8 ecu, and I have changed the TPS over to the PF09. I have swapped the outer wires over, as requested, but I am having a little idle problem

Does anybody know what the resistance of the sensor should be when the throttle is closed?

thanks in advance!

Voltage
Measure the pins at the ecu with the TPS multiplug still connected, pins 11 and 17, 0.25 to 0.3 volts DC

adjust the tps position until this is right as above.

Have you tried unplugging the ICV to make sure its not a vacuum leak?

Yes - idle drops to normal if either (or both) ICV or TPS are unplugged. Also, this coincides with the fitting of the TPS, so unlikely to be coincidental!

Ive actually got a couple of dozen pictures of you in total mate

Your car was easier to focus on that phils, so despite taking a couple of hundred of his and a couple of dozen of yours, I ended up with the same number of useable pictures of you both

And ive got twice as many of mine as EVERY picture that gets taken on the yellow car seems to come out perfectly

This whole picture needs lightening up a bit of course, but look at it for an example.

Focus point is the centre, me and phil are pretty much equal distance from it, my car is pretty much perfectly shown, his is just a murky blur

Its cause of the colour of his versus the background I think, it was a nightmare!

Came out fine when I took pics of it at castle coombe on a decent day though!

PMSL - My car is very photogenic!

I only realised afterwards that the 14" rims I have on my XR4X4 would have probably fit on the back of the cossie, and they have absolutely no grip at all! Oh well, know for next time.

The photos you took came out really well - as you say it is probably the colour of Phils car against the background!

I was well impressed with you little motor mate - first time I have seen it.

Rach was not having a great time, and I didnt want to push my luck given that I had already done damage (or so I thought!!!)

Good to meet the other guys (albeit quickly) - Hopefully my car will be an international superstar along with yours and phils in FF then!!!

Translation:

Rach's tits looked good, I wanted to go home and fuck her.

(or was that just me? )
