Default any members from cornwall?

just wondering if there are any other members on here from down in cornwall. When I sold my last RS (5 years ago) I knew alot of people down this way that was into their fords in a big way but since i've been out of the scene for a few years have lost touch with them all. I knew I couldn't stay away for ever and have just bought a series 2 to get me back into it again

Hi there e900 ddv from Somerset

I go to the Devon Group meets, and meet a few Cossie owners for RTTS in Newquay each year.

Any pics of the RST?

Richie - How did you get on with your seats on the Donnington trip?

Devon/Cornwall whatever, its all south of Exeter to me being a Brummie

I'l give you sailor boy and coming from a M3 Convertable owner

Seats were ok mate, need to get a couple of slightly thicker lumber pads but apart from that it fine.

Good stuff, will have to blag a ride in your car sometime soonish so I can see for myself. Don't mind adding a bit of padding as long as I don't end up crippled!

I usually do the Tour of Cornwall rally every April if that helps

We used to be based at Hendra for the event, but it moved last year to some other uninhabitated place.

23/24th March this year, not sure whats happening yet.

Sure when SiB see's this he'll want to tag along too

If I dont make it down with my car then chances are I will either be with my mates WRC Scooby or my other mates Evo 5 thats just being rebuilt with a new Evo 9 engine

Its based at Pentewan Sands St Austell

(be good if anyone knows of any cheap / safe places to stay in that area too )

You're DAMN RIGHT I will Tony! It's on my calendar already!

Finally a Rally that's not on some foreign island (Mull!) or some sheep friendly rally (N Wales)

As I said before, more than happy to throw some spanners around, make minging tea, and meet drivers and codrivers out on stage.

I'm in, sure Richie and Trev etc will be along as well.

Just to check - the dates are a Fri and Sat, is that right? Got to get booking Fri off work if so. Deffo well up for this!

Specially since you mentioned the pub

Nat A cars (usually big bangers) run just 2 stages on the Friday night Si, then joined by the Nat B crews on Saturday for a full on day.

Depending on distance you might not need Friday off.

I left work last year on the Friday at nomal time and arrived there at 11.00pm with cold beers waiting on the table

Be good to see you matey, how about leaving the caravan at home, and stay in a posh caravan with us lot down there?

Last time we stayed at the Crantock Beach caravan park with a few from PF. Very safe for the cars too...

Failing that we'll be displaying at the Show and Shine on Sunday - we're there every year with the trusty Cossies!
