looking to get a new laptop..... info needed

lookin to get a new latop in the next month and i havent got a clue where to start.

going to use it mainly for muisc, dvds, and checking out passionford.

want it to have big memory but im not bothered about office things

i paid £299 for my acer laptop from tesco 6 months ago.. well worth the money. 1.6 ghz, 15.4" screen, dvd writer and stuff

it only has 256mb ram but its possible to chav it up to 1gb ram i think
