can some 1 please post picks of a 2wd piston, a 4x4 piston and a low compression piston please

sorry have no pics of pistons but, the way to tell between a 4x4 piston and a 2wd piston is that the 2wd gudgen pin in central where as the 4x4 pin is off set (very slightly tho so look carefully) to combat piston slap/rock. Also the 2wd compression bowl is larger than the 4x4's altho thats a pretty useless thing to know if you only have one type of piston and no other to compare with

2wd has a flat circle about the size of a 2 pence piece in the centre

My bad...I do have some pics of pistons...here's mine from my engine build. ive used 4x4 pistons...




If you look at the top left piston in top picture you can see that the pin is very slight off centre.

Is there any markings on the top of your new pistons? like the orininals have??cos i've seen a few with nothing on them

Those two pics show the visual difference when in block very well...2wd has the small centre compared with the larger centre in the compression bowl of the 4x4 piston crown.

You have the valve cut out machining done the very quick but costly way then costina??
