Anyone know where i can get the radio code from for free for a Y reg vauxhall astra??

Post up the model of radio and the serial number

 

I had a problem with this coz my dad gave me an astra and pulled the fuse out of the radio by accident.I phoned vauxhall and gave them the chassis number and they gave it to me. Obviously gotta be the original radio.

 

Will try and get it mate (it's the other's half's mum 's car)


Yes it is the original radio mate but when she went in to vauxhall they wonted to charge for it

So just thought i would ask on here first

The radio is a RDS 500 carnt get the serial number as carnt get the radio out

Anyone know how to?? there are 4 tiny allen key bolts do i need to remove them

just need to press in the 4 holes with something thatll fit

4 allen keys works a treat to release clip and pull

might even be written on there.......deff not written on logbook?

 

yes you do then use the 2 metal keys if you have them if not bend a metal coat hanger to release the clips that hold the radio into the dash!
