its a rolling shell, but any tips on where to look for rust and anything nasty

 

front strut tops.

rear suspsension cups.

Dents on front wings inline with struts.

Cracks or split next to where the battery sits on the inner wing.

Chassis rails all round.

IF its a bare shell it should be pretty easy to spot anything.

obviously check its a geniune cossy if it is a cossy your looking at.

its got most things on it exsept from engine and box it think

 

Rear chasis rails , defo have a look there and all around where the rear beam sits

 

Rear arches if there is no kit on it

Under sunroof as sometimes the drains get blocked, but you will be able to get a good view if you open it

 

ive had 2 saphs,1 which the chassis leg was welded and it was such a good job it was hard to tell,the next were mint but patches on front floor,then 3 door,in which had sat off road in a drive for 5 years,and i couldnt believe how clean it was underneath,chassis legs solid,all it needed was a very small patch to 1 side of the boot in which u cant see from inside
