as above, just wondering what a rough estimate on the fitting of a motorcycle engine to a mk2 escort would cost ! anyone have any idea ?? thanks in advance.

 

Sh*tloads for fabrications, more expensive than a Cossie conversion & the results aren't all that great, not as fast as on a megabusa kit car due to the Escorts weight.

 

im with escortmad79, you'll do a yb conversion alot cheaper

 

i read about such a conversion, he used special light weight thin front brakes and stuff to get the weight down must have cost a fortune.
best way might be a light tube spaceframe with fibreglass body on top?

would corner a lot better than a YB conversion though.

M/cycle engine would probably not produce enough torqie to make a car of that weight performe
