Right,

The lights on my RST have been playin up since I had it, got most of them sorted now ( by removing the bridged wires in the fuse box and putting the relays into the correct slots ) but one little problem remains.

When I flash the headlights only one flashes, and only one full beam (light switch on second setting, indicator stalk pushed back) works???

Any ideas?? Could anyone tell me which relay controls this light setting??

Probably one of those relays you put in are faulty! Or a broken connection in the fuse box!

 

I didn't put any in, just changed the order of them! What number relay controlls this? Will put another in!

Off the top of my head i couldn't tell ya. Im just about to pop out but give me a reminder later and ill look through the diagrams. Haven't had a MK4 for a while now

I think It's relay #9, looking @ what Mr Haynes tells me. which is the right most relay on the second row from the top.

Could someone tell me the colour of the relay they have in this slot???

I'm expecting it to be a brown lighting relay, but the one I have is white.

I think the colours vary on them mate, ive seen blue brown and yellow variants!
