Default Running different oil filter on cossie?

Would running a different oil filter than standard cause any trouble?

Does the specification between filters differ so that using a Zetec filter (EFL600) would be bad for the engine?

Been running this filter on my car for a couple of years, was first fitted by the local ford workshop to give better clearance to an oil pressure sensor.

Any tuner got some specs on the different Motorcraft filters and could say if its ok or not with this setup?

EFL600 is commonly used when having a after market oil pressure sensor, people also use it on RST's instead of the EFL500
