Default focus>350 bhp rs conversion-

hi guys,
ive just spent a few hours looking through everyone else posts in this section and thought i better start my own

This was how she was when i bought her back in july of this year!

After a few subtle mods. i was happy

Personal plate. adds a nice neat touch

19's

half leather trim from an st170

smoked st 170 headlights went in

Started to build my install

single din conversion

finished install

a few shots from around september time

then started on the rs conversion (was originally just doint the swap)
old engine ready to come out

some goodies

new engine ready to go in

engine in

engine was near to completion, but then i decided i wasnt happy, i wanted it to look better and have more power. i've also found out my gearbox wont do too well with the rs lump, so the engine will be coming out and having a full rebuild to a nice spec.. still undecided on what yet, would like about 350bhp.
Can't start this yet till i move units so this will start again after christmas.
In the mean time i have been busy with other bits.

rs dash clocks, after all we need a boost gauge dont we, plus these have a nice shift light, makes me smile when it lights up . simple but hey lol

this is how she looks at the moment but without the wheels . ive sold em i want a nice set of compomotive ones in black. 18''s i reckon

then started on my screen build

there is loads still to do. im currently collecting the rs focus bodykit, got the front and rear bumper just gotta get the arches and rear quarters.
this is so i can run the correct gearbox with the correct length driveshafts

also looking into buying the pro alloy front mount intercooler. and various other bits and bobs

the st interior has been sold.. going for a nice pair of reclining buckets and a leather retrim,

got loadsa bits till to go on. some big bits some little touches that i wanted to add
rs focus sterring wheel and gear knob
polished strut brace
some rs badges
dash sceen
mongoose system

she allready has a decat

ive also seen some ap racing six pot brakes, but they are £1700, are they really worth it?

good job i know a bloke at fords as so far its cost me a bloody fortune lol

looking to be finished at some point in the summer next year.

Looks cool but can't help asking myself wouldn't it have been cheaper to buy a FRS and paint it black once you've bought all the bits? And before you say it i know things happen for different reasons - just thinking out loud! lol

its probs of would of been but then i never had the cash all at once and if i painted a genuine rs it would lose value so wouldnt really make much difference in the end.
