B&M have just hiked their prices. I have amended my prices in the traders section and I'm afraid that's it in terms of UK supply.

We are actually making less profit at the current price than we were at any of the old prices.

They do seem to fit. B&M have just never tested it, so won't add it to the listing. There have been some cases where mods have been required and I have not managed to be more specific than that. Plenty of people have fitted them thoughl

No worries. Usually, for an order placed before about 2.00pm, I can get it to you next-day! Just let me know.

Dosent come with the rods, you have to transfer the rods and selector box from the old mechanism across to the B&M.

Well worth it even with a few £ added to the price

The B&M kit from us is now £215 including postage.

It doesn't come with the rods. The price rise is just a natural annual price-amendment.

Got mine at Ford Fair ... and still not fitted it (oopsy)

Wasn't there a page with people who had some noise issues with the kit, and had to put some matting in the way ?

Got mine on yesterday

Does feel really strange at first, but for some reason (as much as I don't want to like it) I do like changing gear a lot

The problem I have with it is the amount of vibrations it makes the car produce, but part of the reason could be my car tbh.
Moving off from stopped, it makes a quiet whinning sound like a straigh-cut g/box.
The really ba****d annoying vibration is when putting me foot down ... when the turbo comes on full boost, the car violently vibrates and the natural reaction is to change gear fast.

If I can't get the vibrations to go, I might be tempted to put the old one back on as I use the car everyday and I'm pretty sure the vibrations would give me a headache

I had the same problem so stuck some rubber matting between the shifter and the underside of the car.

AHHHH !!!!

I've been looking for a post about that! I was sure someone stuck something between the shifter and the car.

Did it help ? And where did ya get the matting from ? Is it easy to put the matting in ? Do I have any more questions ?

I think the violent vibrations might be to do with the clutch slipping ... guess I do need a new one

I really had to do very little else with mine. I fitted it exactly as per the instructions. The only vibration I had was cured by bonding the lower console together with Stikaflex from behind. It is very good now and I am still very pleased with it, even though it is 4 years old.

I stripped it down and re-greased it with the last gearbox change 3 or 4 months ago and its like new again.

Ho Ho Ho

Yes - Remove all the crap from car's tray areas - coins/sunglasses/CD

And where did ya get the matting from ?
Old rubber car mat

Is it easy to put the matting in ?
Remove shifter and insert and refit shifter

Do I have any more questions ?
LMK

See if the above help

All the best

There's nothing in the trays to vibrate, its definately the shifter hitting the chasis

Car mat ? is that it ? sounds too easy if ya ask me (I know you're not).
What about putting 2 layers of the rubber ? Or would that make things difficult ?
Does the rubber sit in between the 4 bolts on the shifter then is squished when the shifter is replaced ... making the gear stick slightly shorter than normal ?
