Does any one know where i can get a set of number plates with out having the log book to the car?? i have tryed two local shops but my log book still aint been sent out by the DVLA so they wont sell me them maybe a web site or mail order company?? im also after a sun strip but they seem to be hard to buy now? maybe a web site for that to??

dont know about the plates but you should be able to get a sunstrip from most car shops or have your own made at a signs and graphics shop like mine is

DVLA bought in a new law to stop people buying plates without a log book to stop car thieves and criminals getting false plates.

Unfortunately this means you can't get plates either as they have no way of knowing that you are not a criminal.

 

I have just changed my plates over and the dvla gave me a form to get my plates with which is valued for 2 months, maybe u could get one?
