Hello all, hope u wise people can help!

I need a cam kit like yesterday for the car above!

Im lookin for a fast road cam but cant find one anywhere can anyone help please and point me in the right direction?

have you tried piper cams.
if not how about burton peformance. they may have a cam kit on
the shelf.

 

Go to Burton Power, they have several cams for 2.8 V6.

 

thanks very much for ya help chaps but need more assistance! mines an A reg 1984. there are two kits that could be for my motor but not sure which one.

-fast road cam kit 2.8 taunus inj. (large bearing)

-fast road cam kit 2.8 taunus inj. (small bearing)

can anyone help me please

If I did my motor again I would plop in the 2.9 instead of the 2.8.

I have a fast road cam in mine from burton. works well from what I can tell, but I never drove it before I pulled the motor (spun bearing).

Mine makes a tapping noise no matter how many times I adjust the valves. maybe its just the cam... but I am not sure.
the rockers are worn .. but not that bad so I am not sure if it is them either.

runs good though picks up nice in the high rpm's.
