Right my heater matrix has burst in my FRST i have removed the dash and undun the nuts but now i am having trouble undoing the 2 little screws that hold the plate on under the engine bay where the pipes come threw i cant seem to get anything down to undo in i cant even get my hands down if i do i cant get the screw driver to turn as its that tight of space any ideas or will i need to strip all the inlet manifold off

 

you don't need to remove the dash, matrix in a FRST is a joy to do, remove the 2 matrix pipes under the bonnet, remove the centre console, unclip the bottom of the heater box & pull the matrix out


the clips nomally break on the heater box but buzz a couple of holes in it & secure it with cable ties.

 

as matt says, its piss mate!

just undo the pipes and it basically pulls out, no screws to undo (apart from hose clips!)
