Hi all,

Me and rs_nuts where interested in knowing how many H reg 2wd Sapphs where made and how many are left now.

I know you carnt account for all but i can maybe track some down unless theres a better way.

Iv got one and rs_nuts has too.

If anyone knows of any can they post them in here or let the owner know and get them to post in here if they want.

Just interested really as everyone i ever talk to about my car goes "there rare" or "didnt know they did 2wd on a H reg" or "is that a 4*4"

Indeed mate no one on RSOC BB has come forward so looking interesting going to start looking everywhere when work gets a bit more quite.

Got some nice standard pics of yours off an ebay ad yesterday

are they "proper" 90 spec 2wd cars or just non registered examples left over?

with orange lights and stuff it sounds like the later

 

I didnt know they did a 90 spec 2wd sapph i though that 90 spec was only on the 4wd cars 1990 - 1993???

I know people put the 90 spec bits on 2wd cars like the rear number plate suround that goes inbetwwen the light and the darker back clusters.

The cars in question are pre 90 spec looking cars but registered in 1990 on a H.

 

aha, so they have just been left until they were at least 9 months old before getting registered

solves that question, but leads to the more intresting one about why where and who did all this?

 

i have a h reg mine is a 91 though

 

but is it 2wd?

 

i have a 1990 2wd drive 0n clear indicators and black lights , i brought it back from italy , its totaly origional 1 owner no mods even origional exhaust 55thou kms
