Default intercooler off a truck

Ive got an intercooler off of a Iveco truck in the garage and was wondering if it would be any good for a car.
If it would be suitable for a car how much do you think it would be worth.

The measurements are

full width 33"
height 12.5"
depth 2.25"
core width 21"
outlets 3"

Truck coolers and turbos are quite popular over here.

Would be surprised if that blew apart at 15psi tbh. Just hook up a compressor and test it at desired pressure

Yup, saab ones wont stand any pressure cause of the plactic end caps, dead thin too.

That truck one will tho, totaly welded it seems, looks a decent cooler

I had one of those Iveco intercoolers a while ago. Threw it in the bin in the end. Diesels usually run about 15 psi with high volume turbos (need to provide air for 6 or 8 cylinder 6/8/10/12/14/16 litre engines) and looking at the cooler, is does look pretty well made with a decent size inlet and outlet.

If you can get it to fit, I don't think it could be any worse than the origional one or the pace.

I brought one a few months back just to see what it was actually like in the flesh. I decided to go against it in my application however see below pics I took (if it helps anyone) + it was only a couple of hundred pounds from Merc's direct.

*blatent mistake on diamentions in pic 2 (I have half asleep when taking the pics at work that night*

Here is one that someone fitted to a VW Corrado (with custom metal end tanks).

Thanks - Sunny.
