faster on half than full ?

Default faster on half than full ?
mates just bought a rs turbo chipped running 18 psi the thing is it pulls harder on half throttle than on full any ideas what it could be ??

Standard Intercooler?

Could be that 18psi is causing the air temps to rise, resulting in ignition retard. Wouldn't be the first time I had heard of this.

throttle position sensor fucked ?

my 306 used to accelerate quick and then when u slowly let off the throttle it would speed up, and it wasnt turbocharged therefore must have been ecu or tps ?

no its got a grs intercooler piper cam and stage 3 hybrid turbo

could it just need a setup ??

If it aint been setup for a while then it will be worth having it done just to makesure everything is as it should be

KE won't hit full on boost enrichment if you don't use full throttle so it will feel faster as it runs lean.

im aware the TPS triggers full load enrichment, just the latter bit im referring to
