unless i wanted to change from the standard length, (which i would) i would save some cash, and just use the standard items!

i bought a set from ebay "Argopetti" from Australia, thye come fitted with ARP 2000 bolts. The cost of reconning a std set would be approx £50 to resize the big ends + £50 to supply and fit new little ends + £60 for a set of ARP bolts + balancing etc.

The argopetti ones were EN24 (i think this is also known as 4340 and were £300 delivered. The quality of them was absolutely superb and i still sold my old cosworth ones for £60 on ebay.

Total cost then was £300 - £60 = £240. This compared with about £150 to recon the stock ones. Many people would likely say that the stock ones are tried and tested and rarely fail.
