anyone on here got one? need pics please of boot to see how big it is,wifes on about getting one next yr, also what are they like for rear legroom?

 

Noooooooooo!!!!! Dont do it!!!!!! I've just got rid of my one after 16 months of ownership and 12 return visits to Fords, 7 times for the same prob, Traded it in on Tuesday for an ASBO. Steer clear of the Fez too many probs

 

what problems were there? at least it will get me out of fixing it as itll be under warranty,lol

 

As for rear leg room they are no diffrerent to any other Fez.... there is none!

 

I had the front wheel bearings go after two weeks!!!! body mouldings lifting after 48 hours!!! paint fading! It went back 7 times for the paint to be done alone, also it ended up having 4 sets of mouldings coz they kept on peeling off, new O/S front wheel (defective), new O/S door (paint probs)but that wasn't the panel that had to be painted 7 times tho!!
It spent 7 weeks in Fords after me owning it for two weeks, that was just for starters. I work with a guy who did'nt take my advice about them, he picked his one up on the 1st of April, had it 1 week, took it back to be sorted, got it back 3 weeks ago I'm not kidding!!!

 

Don't get me wrong the Fez is a lovely car but i just had alot of bad experiences with mine, the guy at my work isn't having much of a picnic with his either

 

Got mine earlier this year, haven't looked back since.

Back could do with a bit more room but its a hot hatch, I wasnt expecting it.
The boot is a good size though for the size of the car.

Modding market has started to catch up with the Fiesta ST now as well, lots of mods are now available.

or another coudl have a shite 'friday afternoon' car

 

True, but Bentley might actually take an interest in it if it wasn't right!! hopefully you wouldn't need to take it back 12 times

 

i got a lovely comment from the bodyshop supervisor when i took it back on one of the occassions......he said after all it's only a Fiesta!!!! ah i'm sorry that makes all the difference does it????? Coz it's only a Fiesta it doesn't need to be done right???

 

They took their time with mine......... took 16 weeks to be delivered

 

I waited 12 weeks for mine, it was built to order coz i had all the gubbins on it but that didn't do me any favours!!!

 

Don't get me wrong, thinking that i'm slagging the Fez off coz i'm not as i said it's a great car but i just think Fords could have put a bit more efffort into making sure the cars were right before they leave the dealership!! The Director of the dealership quite openly told me that 7 out of 10 of the cars that go out have defects on them but they still let them go and just hope that people don't notice them. And he said and i quote "9 out of 10 people don't ever notice the defects, we were just unlucky that you picked up on all of the faults" mmmm choice comment to make to a customer!
