Default Fiberglass heat properties

Could I use fiberglass to modifiy part of the turbo heat sheild? Was planning on using that sticky back reflective heat material underneath.

Cheers

It'll singe and go crispy and black but shouldn't actually catch fire. My bonnet has been touching my downpipe on occasion, about 6 inches back from the turbo.
