When i put my wipers on intermitent(first speed) they stop all over the place and when u switch them off they just stop anywhere! However they work fine on the other speeds!

So what is more likely to be broken? the wiper motor or the switch? I need to get this sorted for my MOT!

there's got to be a switch somewhere on the motor that stops it once it kills the power and reapplies it via a relay when it's on that position
if you can find a wiring diagram that would be your best bet

alternativly it may be the stalk thats caboomed

I was going to begin by changin the stalk! but someone suggested it might be the wiper motor! I just wondered what the best place to start would be!

 

Had the same on mine.Changed the stalk,still not working.Changed the motor and hey presto,all sorted. .....

 

Better get my hands on a motor then!

 

Mine PAST it,s M.O.T with this fualt.

 

i thought it would fail as mine sometimes stops in the center f the screen!
