Am good mates with Cliff S1 who has put me on this site, I think he is a CUNT for spending all that money on a 85 Escort but there you go!!! Only joking the car is lovely, I have driven it when it was running 251BHP and it was awsome, cant wait to drive it again when its running 361BHP! If he will let me!

I have recently bought a 93my 4x4 saph and have noticed a slight noise when I am driving at low revs. It sounds like a clutch or gearbox noise to me.

It only happens when the revs are sitting about 1,500 to 2,500 (going round a roundabout for example in third gear) but then clears at 3,000 rpm. Sounds like a bearing/rattle from the gearbox.

The clutch pedal also clicks once released every 4-5 depresses.

Car has only covered low miles but am not sure what this noise is.

Only happens when car is warm as well.

Hope someone has an idea what it is cause I aint?
