looking like it may be a fueling problem, not as bad as I first feared , got the car recovered home, and it started with no noises or smoke, but reeking of fuel. When the car broke down it was driving fine, then a "fluffy" misfire started on light throttle, cruising at about 80-90mph on very very low boost. If I backed off then put the throttle down again it aws ok for a bit, but then it got progressivly worse until the car belched loads of black smoke out the back, and stopped . Tried to restart it as oil pressure was good when it shut down and there were no horrible noises, and the cambelt was tight, but it refused to even think about firing which led me to think the worst ... But at home turning the ignition on there was a load of clicking from under the dash, which I assume might me a dodgy fuel pump relay or somthing along those lines...... , the car fired and ran perfectly but I didnt get chance to drive it as i was going out. Any ideas on what it might be? STG1 T25 Escos with the amal valve still connected. Ran perfectly for months before tonight

would try a new coolant temp sensor at the rear of the head(passenger side) or map sensor!

No mate, it's elecrical as I can hear the relays under the dash going tits is bizzare, start the car after turning the alarm off and the relays go mental, turn it off and on again when the immobiliser is de-activated and it dosn't make any noise at all auto electricial time I feel
