My First Cossie!!!
As most of you will know i've been searching for an Esc Cos for a while and had various setbacks along the way but its finally happened. Never owned a cossie before always RST's etc but thought i would start at the top and so picked up my 1996 Escort RS Cosworth LUX yesterday.
Petrol Blue Metallic
3 Owners from new
69k miles with full FORD service history
Full black leather
Full spec inc AC, elec.roof etc.
Completely standard except for Morrettes. The car still has the original factory fitted exhaust, suspension, all the warning/instruction stickers on the engine components and engine bay
Although i'd love to keep it this original the insurance company require the cat 1 and let's face it in this day and age can't really argue with them. For any tea leafs reading this the car is secure as is humanly possible while awaiting fitment so calm down and don't get excited!
As any Esc Cos owner will have already told you on numerous occasions i cannot recommend these cars enough. It's the best car i've owned to date as far as a 'whole package' car goes. The car although quick is not as ferocious as say a modded RST. With a modded RST you've got the torque steer and the wheel spin to remind you its quick. The 4x4 Esc Cos just bloody goes and shows no remorse.
One new and very happy Esc Cos owner
(Will get some pics asap but its been raining since i got it)

Don't worry mate the cat 1 will be in by mid-day. Cheers though.
Going to keep the mods to a minimum - just now anyway. To original to mess about with just now plus insurance is a bit of a b1tch.
Been driving the Mrs 1.6 zetec Esc Cos rep for a while as i broke up my stage 1 RST to help fund the Esc Cos so it should keep me amused for a while...LOL. Cheers
