I love the white one because of its looks and what it is, you just dont get cars with this sort of history any more, touring car champions etc, the black one is my pride and joy, believe it or not I bought it just over a year ago standard, it is my vision of how I want it, it is now 4x4 will run closed loop lambda system with 750cc injectors and have what I think are to die for looks!

The carbonfiber hood looks well nice on the black car. I like it as it is. Not painted in the colour of the car

Nick, Yes i've still got the fleet, Just been offered a 3 door so mind is in overtime as to whether i should buy it or not. (no space left) 2WD is still going strong and 4x4 well it's just at the same stage it was a year ago. Focus is a-right though, gave it a workout the other day and got to say it's nae bad in the bends. Even for 2WD.

 

Paul, get rid of the sapphs and go for a 3 Dr they are far more menacing on the road and are getting a good nit rarer, you dont see that many on the roads! what car is it?

Car belongs to a mate of a mate who is thinking of selling. Hasnt been on the road for last 6/7 years so dont quite know what the condition is. Only problem is i have a load of cash burried in my 4X4 and the condition it's in at the mo i would get fook all for it Would really like a 3 door though so pulling my hair out at the mo wondering what to do

 

you would just have to weight up how much you would get for the 4x4 now against how much its worth and how much to fix! May find its not worth doing mate! sell the parts on, dare I say it but break it up! it has leather and a good engine eh? might get £2.5k to £3k for it in bits how much to put all the body work right? then it might be worth around £5k to £6 max! thats the high end of the going rates! What colour is the boys 3 Dr?

Nick, 3 DR is in Moonstone. I get what you are saying about the bodywork of my 4X4. Also the price they are making is pretty pish. Only thing it's really got going for it is the history and condition of all the other parts, Engine, box, interior ect. The rear seats havnt even been sat on and i spent an absoloute fortune on the engine and box. Got an over the phone price from a bodyshop out of the Rally News of £4K + Vat to put the body right ouch!!. Might just have to rent an other lock up or something.
