MOT how much?

Im stuck on the rig and the other half had her escort gti estate MOTed.
It passed ok but the bloke at the garage said the rear rear brake pipes were on ther way out .£47 just for the mot and a total bill of £112 to replace the rear brake lines as well does this sound ok or should i go and rip off his head for being a coont?

erm? When did the MOT go up in price?

Pants pulled down ther me thinks, other bit isnt too bad, dont forget they need to be bled afterwards. Actually get her to have a look under the car, make sure they DID change them

Shows the fee at 42.10 - I thought that was the most they were allowed to charge (not 100% on that though) - most places I have heard of lately are charging 35-40 quid.

i got quoted £160+vat to change a handbrake cable for my mot........they also wanted £40 odd notes for the cable on top of that which i got for £20
