what bar do people use when fabricating their own?
i'm building a hill climb car at the moment and would like to have a go at making my own in the evenings over winter.
It's totaly new to me so i'm after help on what bar to use and where to purchase from?

I use C.D.S tube (cold drawn seamless) this is what most cages are made of. you can get it from most large steel stockholders.

 

Or if a better spec was required (stronger and lighter) you could use T45 also readly available.
