Sorry.....it's what did you say....?

ohhhhhh TURBINE STALL.......i swear you said wastegate chatter

There are plenty of MFI cars that have been known to do it, its not ever as good as on an EFI car though because the flap on the metering head closes and deadens the sound .

A compressor is still a turbine

The sound is the compressor stallin granted, the compressor by definition is a Turbine.

So therefore turbine stall is not gramatically incorrect

Rick, I reckon once my boost is wound up mine will do the same, but for 7psi it chatters good

Fro Turbo, It's simple, take your D/V off, blank the 2 hoses with broom handle for the big one, a bolt for the small one, or jus take it and the Tpiece off and connect back to inlet and give it some right foot/lift off an see what it does

i dont hav a d/v, infact i dont hav squat its all totally standard but iv got a fucked up problem where it just doesnt want to do much after 3000ish rpm n even on its way there its a bit lumpy. been like that since i got it (2 months or so) n i think it might be the spring on the wastegates fucked? was just gunna leave it n put on a -31, chip etc etc over winter then get it set up but i heard ur best makin sure the engine is sweet before u start tuning them?
not sure whether or not to tune it cuz its all standard n pretty mint with a fully backed up 71k, but on the other hand, im 19 n its what iv always wanted. pullin my frickin hair out tryin to decide what to do!
