Have a problem with hand brake light coming on at the same time as the abs light. Start car up abs light go's out as norm, During the caurse of a journey the hand brake light comes on and off with the abs light every now and then, The hand brake light seems to go out followed a couple of seconds later by the abs light when the brake pedal is depressed. Have cleaned and checked the resistance of all the sensors and all seems ok. Can anyone shed any light on the problem.

 

Had a similar issue with me 4x4. ABS light would come on every noa and again and sometimes the pedal would do the shudder thing.
Seemed to reset itself when I turned the car off and restarted it.
Gave up trying and just lived with it. Then i sold the car.

 

i would gues that the abs sensors need cleaning
