Default shaky series 1

hi just had a new gearbox put in and a s2 flywheel and clutch

the car is fine when driving slow but as soon as you get higher up in the revs the car starts juddering at the front as if the front is going to fall off and when letting off the power in fourth at about 4 thousand revs it shakes the ehit out of the car anyone got anyideas what is causing this

yes wheels where fine before

all bolted up properly


could it be ball joints or engine mounts as it only does it higher up in the rev range?

it COULD be a lot of things. no harm in renewinf ur suspension parts.

if i were you, i would double check:

all suspension bushes and bolts,
TCA's
wheel bolts
drive shafts and make sure they are locked in and not just pushed in place
the big bolt that holds driveshaft against disc
calipers
double check gearbox bolts

for some reason, if above seems ok...i would suspect a dodgy flywheel but it would also do it on take off to...

make sure you didnt brake any ruber gbox mounts when taking it out or puttin it in as they do break

will do it mainly starts vibrating when i ease off when i accelerate it seems to power threw the vibration

Where did the flywheel come from? Could be Warped.

the shim inbetween the block and g/b is still in place and hasnt fell off when you took the flywheel of has it as this will cause a vibration

Really.........ive been cars without one and its been ok (i'm not saying it's a redundant part though)
