as titled, the roof is dead,
does anyone know where (if any) fuses can be found for the roof
or relays, looked in the haynes escort manual but they dont have any roof info for cabbys

iv tried it a multiple of different ways on the ignition but had no joy

its a mk 6 cab by the way

 

both relays for up and down ARE in the boot near side behind the carpet panel of the wheel arch!


ps if still as factory the roof switch will ONLY work on number 1 ignition!

 

lots of people have told me that it needs 2 be in position 1 to work, but mine has always worked with the ignition in position 2 with the engine not running?

also had a look in the boot n i could only see 1 relay,
guna have a more detailed look in a bit tho
