300 bhp on standard Exhaust Manifold I dont think so !
Just dyno ed an engine with all the right bits and manifold killed the power you need a tubular on a 1.6 to see 300

i have seen an rs turbo do over 300 on standard manifolds..
you sure your engine is "all the right bits"?

It is possible. Holding onto that sort of power as the revs raise is a problem though, amoungst others.

As above. I know a couple of genuine 300bhp RST's running the standard exhaust manifold. Come the end of 2007 with anyluck mine will be joining those ranks

Mine has no problem with the standard manifold and a 2.5 inch exhaust.
340+BHP at 25psi.

its not the manifold
whats the full spec of the engine ? who's told you there all the right bits to get the power ? alot of the power comes from porting the head on a cvh and its not a easy head to get right for high flow

measure the exh temp on a 2.5 exhaust then say its not restrictive
