Did another car at college this week, nothing 2 exciting had 2 respray the passenger door cos it was scratched and the bull bar and rear bumper, but due to the laquer we used making the door look darker had 2 spray the door then blend it into the wing and rear door and re-laquer the side of the car!!!

I eckon you should take my car for a few weeks and paint it, i cold then donate a few hundrad to the college

Cheers!! they actually take anyones cars in to be sprayed mate u just have 2 book it in, assuming they wanna do it thou lol, althou would rather u donate it to me!!! We only get Ł55 a week training allowance

 

Toe knee if you want to take my car and spray it taking out a couple of small dings then no problem.

Give me a 8 weeks to get some more parts then we can sort it out.
You can have the car as long as you need it, theres no rush
(as long its not 2 months) and just give it me back when its done.
Just finishing some engine bits and i need to source a couple of doors, boot lid and rear bumper

 

Its good to see that a lot of time has gone into the masking up part of it, the number of times i've seen cars that have had work done and there's overspray everywhere do to the fact that people haven't bothered to mask up properly. Top looking job

 

Yea init, loadsa hours went into that car shame it had to go but had 2 cut my losses and sort my finances etc will have another one thou no matter what!!! Really miss it now the Xr2i aint the same

Fuckin nitemare doin the prep wprk/masking!! but yea as u say overspray is a pain in the arse and ruins a job so pays to take time and do it properly, learn that from mistakes already lol.

Cant wait to be doin it as a proper job rather than at college and earning decent money, been fed up recently when ur doin Ł300+ spray jobs and gettin Ł55 a week for it is a bit of a joke
