Default Fuse keeps blowing! pics added !! help

As above basically me car keeps turning over but will not start 3 door, now it was dark and i turned ignition on for first time in neary 2 weeks and i seen a flash/fuse blowing down above my pedals

So basically my engine bay was getting a refresh and tidied up some exposed cabling here and there with new tape and everything went fine i think , could be totally unrealated , but thats 2 fuses now 30A and both have popped once i turn ignition on

Heres a pic of where it lives and i have no idea if this is why its not starting or what the hell this fuse does

Any help appreciated , and any ways of testing/with multimeter would be great

Here is the bugger that usually sits i the green holder

have you removed the wiring plug from the ABS pump and refitted it the wrong way round, or is that fuse deffo for the engine management (think both my management fuse holders are yellow, but I may be wrong) ?

Mmm good question , did have those plugs off

Starting problem sorted though . refilled my power steering fluid and my wheel started turning slightly by itself and making a screeching noise ? Luckily it aint moving at the moment

Is that fuse something to do with the abs then ???

there is a fuse down there for the ABS pump - get a multimeter between the plug on the ABS pump and the fuse holder and check for continuity

Il disconnect my plugs and re-new fuse to see if it still blows then get the meter in about it
