Cliff673200 has a GRS on his S1 and seems well happy with it. Speak to Mr GRS himself as he'll be able to answer any queries you may have

They are well worth the money and I am very pleased with mine , well worth investing in one for your car

You’re running a Series 2 rad in a series1 I take it?

Although the series 2 radiator has a smaller surface area the volume is bigger than a Series 1 by nearly 2 litres, surface area is very important though!

How is your rad and charge cooler installed?, as the standard series 1 rad is screw in on the slam panel only, where as the series 2 rad is normal bolted top and bottom

A few questions I know, but this will help me sort your installation out.

i had to use the s2 rad as i wanted a water cooled turbo and i hed a s2 c/c off my last car that fell off the road so i used all my s2 pipework and water pump the rad and c/c are bolted together as normal the top pins are slotted up through the slam panel and the bottom rests on the crossmember doesnt sound secure but it dont move but if i got the s1 large cooler i think id have to change to a s1 rad and and rework new pipework
cheers
