Im 99.9% thats not true.

The only factory leather i am aware of is a half leather effort, and was in special edition cabriolets........and then im 99.9% sure they didn't have recaros for that matter either!

 

That looks more of a retrim of the original seats to me - nice job though! Looks well smart!

 

Half leather was an option as I know somebody with it on their old one. Full leather was never an option to th ebest of my knowledge. That said I spose if you waived enough cash under the dealers nose I'm sure they'd bend over backwards to help you get that wallet out

MK4 Cabrio came as a special edition with full white leather or Recaros in half leather. Also did the BorisBecker Cabrio, just with half leather Recaros

 

i don't think it matter they look lush

 

the all blue edition had full leather interior as well but that was only in the 3i spec seats

the half leather was only an option on the Tennis edition cabrio's, but never seen full white leather interior
