Default What engine mounts ?

Need to get my engine mounts replaced, so I was wondering where and what to get ?

It's for a S2, used everyday (not sure if that makes a difference)

It's not exactly standard
IIRC, shortly before I got the car it made 197bhp.

I went in a 205 with solid engine mounts, and I mean solid. If the engine moved, the car moved with it ... I wasn't all that bothered about how it felt.

As long as the mounts take the stress off the exhaust elbow (I made a post about it a few months ago)

Burton Power quoted Ł90~ for uprated ones.

I wasn't sure what ones to go for, as I know people have had problems with bushes perishing very quickly in other parts of the car ... and I wasn't sure if it was the same story.

Thanks all ... looks like my wallet is going to shrink a little :P

Dont go Std ones unless you fit Diesel mounts, which are better.

i've had the road spec Vibra technics fail on my 190 bhp xr2, SO go for race spec ones.

I now use my own spec Deflex mounts, and i have no vibrations, and they still going strong after 6000 miles, 5 trackdays on slicks, and 100 + 1/4 miles sprints.
and thats on my xr2tt, running 190 ish bhp.

I use Ł3.50 mounts from the local factors. I drive my car every day, and dont tolerate vibrations. You WILL hget them with vibratechnics. My car runs a fair bit more than 197hp too

Mounts break due to Driver style and power/torque.
