.... it appears the seals on his 2wd rear calipers are shot to bits

So, does anyone have some half decent or good working 2wd rear calipers, even if they are just to get him outta trouble...what other vehicles are they the same as?

Ideally locally to london kent essex maybe norfolk... this weekend

 

I thats the cause of problem then Damo?

Was it actualy leaking fluid when that were inspected closer?

Did you spot that camera on the A127 last night on way home?

 

i havent seen em myself andy but apparantky they are shot... yeah the camera was still there at quarter to 2, lets see how lucky I am with the journey there

IF someone local(ish) has a set of calipers, or a rebuild kit that Tony can have i will offer to pick them up and deliver them to APT if that will help ????

 

Damo I got a set, well they are still on the car. The n/s has been overhauled/new 2 year ago and the o/s was in fine condition from memory

 

a set of rear calipers off any sierra or granada will be ok to use if you can find any in the scrappers that are any good. regards Steve

 

Go to your local motor factors, rear calipers for any solid rear disc equiped sierra or granada are exactly the same, they cost about Ł45 exchange for nice shiney reconditioned ones with all new seals etc.
