hows it going folks i have a series one was never running more than standard boost as i thought it was always a standard one until i opened it up it has a early rs turbo chip fitted (thats whats written on the back of the chip)
when i fitted it to my old series one which was holding 16 psi this chip went straight over to 30 psi without boost cutting or pinking i was told that the amal vavle will need re jetting anymore info needed give us a bell on 07841700530 cheers looking at £80 for the chipped ecu and fuel computer posted

sounds like you have a series 1 ecu in their

 

they are three different coloued squares

 

my series 1 ecu has 3 coloured squares
the series 2 ecu has patterns on it

it did come of a g reg 90 spec one poss might be unlimited boost chip as this car never had a rev limiter too

sorry mate for the late reply, ive had more problems now so i dont have the spare cash, im after a gearbox tho if ya have 1

 

got a series 2 box that was whiney had been rerbuilt but my cousin hit a kerb and bent the lower arm never lost oil or crunched in gear but whined alittle we broke the car up so have never tested it
also got a 3i box that came out of my old series 1 never crunched or popped out of gear
