I will be heading up there for the saturday stages from the Isle of wight. 10 or 11pm boat on friday drive up there with 5 of us in a galaxy I have hired from the local ford dealer (brand new so better not get it too dirty
), ordered some rally passes last week so waiting on those. should be a laugh. went 4 years ago 13 of us in a Transit Van with top speed of 45mph so this time should be better touch wood.

Weather for the weekend
glad im going saturday and heading home sunday.
Saturday
By far, the best day of the weekend, despite the continued threat of shower activity. We will see a dry start to the day, with some sunny intervals and variable cloud cover. It wont be long, before rain showers move in on the south westerly breezes. Well scattered, but likely to feature around the middle part of the day. Sunny intervals during the afternoon and isolated, sharp rain cells. Top ambient temperature of 11C, 50F. 40 per cent risk of precipitation.
Sunday
Wet and windy weather returns with a vengeance. A deep area of low pressure sweeps across the country, centred across northern Scotland. Heavy and persistent rainfall will sweep across the rally area, during the early hours and first part of the morning. Up to an inch of rain is expected, with very poor conditions on the final stages. The rain will be blown away by late morning, on a strengthening west, south westerly wind. Gale force gusts likely for a time during the day, reaching 40mph. Showers will follow to the area, frequent and heavy, with a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Top ambient temperature of 9C, 46F. 100 per cent risk of precipitation.
