Cam cover

Im looking to take my cam cover off for cleaning and maybe painting it.

Can i remove it and re-use the gasket?? Or do i need to buy a new one??

you might get away with it if your very lucky but genrally in my experience you end up with it ripping leave some on the head and some on the cover

Thought that might be the case!! Cheers for the help, i will try and clean it with out removing it!!
